Social Networks as business channel in MoMo Milan

Mobile Monday Milan on June 11th will tackle the theme

"Social Networks as business channel: What's the impact on traditional TLC Business?"

Our interest is in how the impact of social networks is changing the strategies and positioning of traditional telecom companies, which range from service providers to pure transport operators.

We'll talk about what kind of roles the companies involved in Telecommunications (e.g. Nokia) and Content (e.g. Buongiorno) are playing in this transition; in which mobile social activity has become the main marketing asset for many companies.

The traditional TLC operators have been trying to slow down this transition by imposing limitations, but in vain. Are the operators starting to move on, along the wave, towards more performing and competitive data packet offerings?
