Show Your Mobile App - A Fantastic Line-up of New Ideas!

Mobile Monday Italy invited its community to come and show the most innovative mobile applications, concepts and services to the world.

Once again we are able to see the amazingly wide range of functions that mobile applications cover. We are proud to present a fantastic line-up of presentations:

STARRING (IN ALPHABETICAL ORDER)

Barefoot Software Asia comes from Hong Kong and presents b.Tween - a ‘Flash to iPhone’ porting Technology that provides rapid migration of Flash content to the iPhone and iPodTouch as legal and native iPhone applications downloadable on iTunes.

Comeks visits us from Finland and presents a visual "Twitter" that allows you to create funny things with your camera phone. Take photos, download and add stickers and speech bubbles. Send them to your friend's phone or share in your favorite website (Facebook, Bebo, Friendster etc...)

Funambol presents the SyncML server and client suite for push email, PIM sync. There will be lots of cool info about the Funambol Mobile Forge, Opensource business and Funambol's Blackberry Java email client.

Roberto Marsicano presents BRAND, a patented call-directing system that enables accessing any phone resource via an alphanumeric selection - soon there is no need to remember any phone numbers.

Sergio Ferraro from Politecnico di Milano, Facolta' del Design presents his mobile research and related visions. Ferraro elaborates the potentiality of multimedia via mobile devices: For enhancing the communications of the Shanghai World Expo 2010, he suggests and ideates scenarios for the usage of mobile content and applications. The research is made as a thesis work, guided by Francesco Galli (Politecnico di Milano, Facolta' del Design, Dipartimento INDACO).

Ubiquicom presents Ubiquicom Locator, a software-only platform, developed to localize any standard WiFi device under network coverage. Ubiquicom Locator is packaged to serve the market with indoor or outdoor Real Time Localisation System. Unlike most RTLS systems currently on the market, Ubiquicom’s technology does not require any structural alteration to existing WiFi networks, and is compatible with the WiFi network infrastructures by any vendor and virtually any device working under WiFi coverage.

Virgola Net presents Tonight.eu Mobile Edition - Tonight.eu is a social network focused on nightlife across Europe. The project covers venues, events and cinemas with contents mainly generated by users. The network expanded from one to fifteen cities in the last year and a franchising program is soon to be launched for entrepeneurs willing to join the network with their cities. The mobile version is a key tool used on the road to answer the evergreen question: “What shall I do tonight?”.

Waymedia presents their new platform for Proximity Marketing, called Mobitouch CUBE. Mobitouch CUBE allows the localized wireless distribution of mobile content through high-bandwith connections which are Free of charge for both the sender and the receiver. It has been designed from the ground up to meet the needs of service providers who are planning to deploy medium/large Bluetooth marketing networks in the OOH advertising market and in the Point of Sale.
