Computer scientist and blogger, he is considered one of the pioneers of the Internet in Italy. He is the founder of Reeplay.it, a new application which allows users to aggregate web videos to play them back on all multimedia devices. He's the chairman of Eximia, a company specialized in identification and localization systems based on radio-frequency identification (rfid). Author of technology and economic publications on major newspapers and scientific coordinator of seminars on technological innovation for the italian finance community. He's been one of the first persons to introduce in Italy the debate on network neutrality and founder of NNsquad.it. In 1988 he founded and chaired MINERS (Milan Network Researchers and Students), the first telematics association in Italy. He promoted the creation of the first italian Neutral Access Point and the first ISPs association which he chaired from 2005 to 2007. Founder of Clusit - Italian association of computer security, AIPSI - Italian branch of ISSA; Board member of Centro Studi Itasforum - Italian Safety and security forum and member of the board of trustees of Nexa center for Internet and Society
